Empowering students to create sustainable, real-world impact through international collaboration and social entrepreneurship.
I2Impact is a student-led non-profit organisation that enables students to apply their academic knowledge to real-life challenges across the world. Through multidisciplinary collaboration, students work on projects that aim to create meaningful and lasting social impact.
Each year, teams of students partner with organisations, social enterprises, and NGOs to tackle concrete issues in both developing and developed contexts. These projects combine research, innovation, and on-the-ground implementation.
The I2Impact programme is structured around a full academic year and consists of two main phases.
This approach ensures that projects are not only theoretically sound, but also practically relevant and adapted to local realities.
I2Impact aims to offer students the opportunity to create durable and meaningful social impact by working on real-world challenges. At the same time, the organisation supports students in developing themselves both personally and professionally.
By combining academic knowledge with practical experience, students gain the skills and mindset needed to contribute to global challenges in the future.
Beyond projects, I2Impact also organises events and workshops to inspire students and raise awareness about global challenges and sustainable innovation.
We are driven by curiosity, commitment, and a strong motivation to create positive change in the world.
We focus on creating real, tangible and lasting impact for the communities we work with.
We value different perspectives and believe in learning from local communities and diverse cultures.
We prioritise long-term solutions that are socially, economically and environmentally sustainable.
Many global challenges require innovative, collaborative and locally grounded solutions. I2Impact provides students with the opportunity to actively contribute to these solutions, while learning how to work across cultures and disciplines.
By bridging the gap between academia and real-world impact, I2Impact prepares students to become responsible leaders and changemakers.
Over the years, I2Impact has engaged hundreds of students in international projects, workshops, and events. Through these initiatives, students have contributed to projects in areas such as sustainability, agriculture, public health, and social inclusion.
Each project aims to create value not only for the partner organisation, but also for the local community and the students themselves.
